1994 J-09 Jumbo
While we are not a Larrivée dealer, we have sold a number of Larrivée guitars over the years, and this guitar is certainly consistent with the best of what we have seen from this company in terms of its tonal quality and the very fine quality of its construction. In terms of tone, we find that Larrivée achieves a voice that is marked by excellent balance with clear note definition and inherent sustain, along with a density to the note foundation that imparts strong resolution. These qualities make for a guitar that is not only pliable and responsive, but solid and reliable.
The J-09 is on the higher end of the Larrivée line, but it retains a slightly more utilitarian, streamlined aesthetic. It easily competes with upper-end offerings from companies like Martin or Taylor.
Cosmetic Condition:
Despite its age, this guitar shows virtually no signs of wear. EXCELLENT+ condition.
